A friend of mine has been doing this project for around 50 days now and I finally decided to look into it. 100happydays is a project where you take a picture of something that has made you happy that day. You continue this for 100 days. The goal is to start noticing the happiness of each day! I really love that!! So I signed up and decided to try it out! My best friend and blog collaborator Kalyn is doing it too! I'm excited to see how this unfolds! My goal is to post weekly updates on it here!

I am also excited to announce this will be a collaboration blog with Kalyn Shaffer! You might recognize the name from other posts! (See the baby announcement blog and the recent Children's Museum post!) I'm hoping to have Kalyn be a regular collaborator here at Jar of Bee's! As she is also doing this project with me I will be featuring some of her #100happydays posts too! I hope that we can encourage each other to make it all 100days! Without further ado:
Kalyn's words: "My husband is an over-the-road trucker so he has limited time at home. I still find myself being bummed with him being gone. I did it so I could focus on stuff that made me happy, even if it was just one thing for that day."

So the challenge will be to stick to this for 100days! A friend of mine has reached the halfway mark!! While I post my daily pictures on instagram and facebook, I will post weekly updates here!
While my happiness project is about personal growth, I deal with issues that are often the opposite of happiness. I like this project because it's reminding me to find something good and wonderful about every day, big, small, or in between. It's easy to get wrapped up in what's going wrong, what's stressful, or the negative things. I work to keep my focus positive and I think this is a great reminder for that!
