(To me personally) My husband and I joke that K is pretty overly literal. For example- during a Library Story Hour puppet show about Chicken Little, K got up and told the puppet the sky wasn't really falling. That it was "okay".
Still, we foster the belief that magic can happen. [This is also the child who after hearing a poem I made in the car- about whispering your dreams to the stars so they can whisper back- actually whispered at the sky- just hoping he could hear it.]
SO: I don't always come up with these brilliant and magical ideas for the best childhood ever- on my own. Lately- a common theme I see is "making toys seem real to children". The two big ones I'm seeing are "Elf on the shelf" and "Dinovember" check them out.
