I started doing this infographic newsletter last year. I made another one for this holiday season. Each time I've made them I get asked how to make one. I thought I would try and put up another (better) tutorial. Here is this years finished product. I am going to show you how to make one like this. If you'd like to see last year's tutorial look here: This is where I begin. I start with a blank paint file and save it. I then open that file on picmonkey.com They are a photo editing site and they have a lot of useful tools for making these and I think it's one of the most user friendly. The side tool bar is where you can get lots of great editing tools. I start with my heading. Click on the Tt icon and you get your various text options. (Note that anything with a little crown next to it means it is not a free feature. Most options on this site are free though). From here I save it and reopen back in paint. Now I can put in my "boxes" for my info. I use the rectangle tool. Now we're ready to save it and finish editing it back in picmonkey (You don't have to start with the header like I do, you can start with your sections and save from there, but I've found starting with my heading helps me space things out best). From here it's just familiarizing yourself with picmonkey's tools and putting in whatever info you'd like to share. Want to add images to your newsletter? My goal for next year to use a colored background and more solid colored theme like some of these examples:
